PROJECT DREAM FRIDGE
Feeding Englewood Residents Since September 11th, 2020
Project Dream Fridge is a non-profit charity project which aims to distribute fruits, vegetables and water to the Englewood community that would otherwise go to waste. The fridge is located outside of Sam’s Food and Liquor at 5658 South Racine Ave. The project will run indefinitely with food donations coming from Dion’s Chicago Dream and local businesses. Visitors are encouraged to freely take as much as they’ll need to survive the day, returning the next day. Similarly, the project encourages packaged food donations from local business community that comply with the acceptance rules.
